René Herremans

René joined Ahold in August 2007 and is responsible for profiling the employer brand of Ahold and their three retail labels. His focus includes the attraction and retention of talent across all levels of the business. René has developed a relationship approach to Employer Branding, not only focused on attracting employees but also on retaining them. His relationship approach is based on segmentation and individualization of target groups and employees and aims to provide long term added value for a company and its employees.

Prior to Ahold, René was employed by the Dutch Government as a Communication Consultant involved with major labour market campaigns in the Netherlands. René has also worked as a marketing and communication professional on several positions at agencies and advertisers.
