With a B.A. in Corporate Communications and a M.A. in Publication Design from the University of Baltimore, Kerry has accumulated a wealth of knowledge in Marketing and Communications. She is experienced in developing and strengthening corporate brand identities and has managed brands for a variety of organizations. She specializes in integrating these practices into strategic marketing plans.
In May 2016 Kerry joined CVS Health as their Director, Employer Branding and Recruitment Marketing where she is responsible for overseeing brand identity and content development for CVS Health. This involves developing and measuring career specific social media marketing and social engagement efforts; establishing and measuring benchmarks for recruitment marketing campaign effectiveness and proactively reviewing and recommending new digital technology to improve overall brand strategy.
Prior to joining CVS Health Kerry was the employer brand manager at Amtrak where she was responsible for building a best in class employer brand and delivering knowledge-based solutions through digital marketing.
Previously Kerry was the Social Media Manager at CSC, a global company operating in 90 countries with a workforce of approximately 93,000. Kerry was a primary point of strategic continuity for social content across multiple programs and initiatives at CSC.
In November 2007, Kerry added recruitment marketing and employer branding to her profile when she joined Sodexo's Talent Acquisition Group as a Marketing Communications Manager. In this fast paced digitally connected era of email, blogs, Twitter, Linkedin, Facebook and more the ability to connect with a company goes beyond the "About Us" section on a website. Sodexo, like many companies, has embraced social media because it’s becoming one of the most popular forms of communication among all generations and it allows them to take an active role in their online presence and build personal relationships with candidates and employees. Kerry has the privilege of working with a team of recruiting professionals who are committed to finding the best qualified candidates and who are open to learning new ways to recruit Sodexo's future employees.
Through Social Media Marketing Sodexo's Talent Acquisition team set out to create positive experiences for their candidates, which in turn strengthened their employer brand. Once Sodexo started using social networking sites to connect with people, it didn't take long before they started to build relationships with potential candidates and connect with fellow employees around the world. Under Kerry's direction, social media marketing and social networking has become a significant part of the recruiting strategy at Sodexo in the US.
