Giuliana Massimino

 

Giuliana is the Italian Country Communications Manager for Sandvik, a global engineering group in tooling, materials technology, mining and construction.  At Sandvik, Giuliana is responsible for leading the employer branding function, as well as defining, planning and leading external and internal communication activities and media relations. When Giulana joined Sandvik she had the challenging objective to create and start up the Corporate Communications function in Sandvik’s Italian business operations. Since 2008 Giuliana has developed innovative and successful strategies by launching brand experiences aligned with company values and corporate objectives to build the employer brand amongst Sandvik’s different target groups such as universities and technical schools.

Prior to her role at Sandvik, Giuliana was the Marketing and Communications Manager in the strategic consulting sector, legal and ICT sector working in leadership roles such as Baker & McKenzie, Cap Gemini Group and Anixter, where she was responsible for the East-Mediterranean area. She also has experience in a senior management assignment as an expatriate in the UK. Giuliana has a passion for hi-tech and its impact on employer brand and is a strong believer and supporter of digital and mobile recruiting strategies to support the employer brand.
