Els Van de Water is the Group HR & Communications Director at Europ Assistance where she is responsible for International HR Management and Business Partnering, covering all aspects of the people agenda including:

 

• recruitment, talent management and succession planning

• target setting, assessment and coaching 

• organizational development and restructuring

• internal communication, events and facility management

• compensation & benefits

• industrial relations

 

Prior to joining Europ, Els was the Human Resources Director Southern Europe at Johnson & Johnson responsible for HR Management and Business Partnering, covering all aspects of the people agenda.

 

Prior to joining Johnson & Johnson, Els was the Talent Acquisition Lead & HR Business Partner at Microsoft. Els was responsible for the employer brand strategy of the Italian sub which is consistently ranked among the "Top 5 Preferred Companies to Work for" by new graduates and young professional and has consistently ranked in the Top 3 "Great Places to Work" award in Italy over the last 6 years.

Els is Vice President and Co-founder of HR Community, an international knowledge community for human resources managers. Els has previous been the Human Resource Manager at LogicaCMG Italy and Human Resources Manager at Cisco Systems.
